Technical Troubleshooting Guide

Known Issues

Q: Why does Xplorer not launch when clicking the Catalogue button from the website?

A: Please check that Internet Explorer’s built-in pop-up blocker (or any third-party pop-up blocker, if used) is set to allow pop-ups from the relevant website, as Xplorer will launch in a separate window. Check with your IT Administrator on settings for pop-up blockers.

Q: Why is some of the Xplorer catalogue data shown off-screen?

A: If there is too large an amount of data to be shown on one screen, a vertical scroll bar will appear at the side of the page enabling you to view the rest of your data off-screen.
A similar situation can be seen in the Specifications screen where there are large and/or multiple images loaded for a part, leading to a horizontal scrollbar appearing.

Q: Why does the Xplorer menu seem to be overlapping?

A: The most common cause of overlapping within the menu screens is the display area being too small to display the menu fully. Maximising the Xplorer window to full size at the recommended screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels should solve this problem.
