Warehouse Assistant

Fuel Parts UK Ltd. is a worldwide distributor of Automotive Fuel and Emission System Components. As part of an ongoing commitment to continuous customer, people and process improvement we are looking to develop our warehouse function with the appointment of a Full Time Warehouse Assistant.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will work as part of the warehouse team to ensure that customers receive the correct product, suitably packaged by a set time.

Previous warehouse experience, including order picking and packing is essential.
Other duties may include goods inwards and some heavy lifting.

40 hour week. Salary: £12646.40 (plus benefits after successful completion of probationary period).

Job Description

Job Title:                       Warehouse Assistant
Location:                       Warehouse at Fuel Parts UK Ltd.
Hours of Work:             40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00
Responsible to:             Warehouse Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

All warehouse duties, following of procedures and policies laid down by the company.
All aspects of goods inwards.
All picking and packing of orders. To include repackaging of specific goods.
Assembly of kits with appropriate documentation.
Maintaining correct stock location.
Maintaining stock levels of packing materials.
Ensuring that all delivery notes are picked, packed and despatched by the end of each working day.
Ensuring all post is sent out via Royal Mail before the end of each working day.
Maintaining a clean warehouse according to warehouse cleaning schedules.
Maintaining a tidy, safe warehouse with clear aisles at all times.
